are there international calling cards for the Philippines?
I’m visiting the philippines from the US. are there calling cards i can buy in the states or philippines to call the US for cheap? and if you happen to know how much, that would help also… thanks for your input.
i don’t know why you both got thumbs down on your answers but I didn’t do it..thanks for the advice…
I’ll have to write that down PLTD budget card…
You can buy the PLDT Budget card with Php100 and Php200 denomination. The rate is Php3/min or roughly 30 min for a Php100 card.
The card can be bought at any 711 or mini stop stores and other establishments since it is quite popular here.
Just make sure to inquire whether the phone that you are using is a PLDT phone, but I don’t think you have to worry about it since 80% of the phones being used here are PLDT lines.
Another thing, you may encounter some problems accessing the card if you are staying in a 5 star hotel because they tend to divert the calls to force you to use their services which are so sky high expensive. Otherwise, this card is very convenient and way way cheap.
